• Single bedroom - this is next door to the toilet and shower. There is one step down from the lounge to the bedroom. We regret that the cottage door openings are too small to give wheelchair access. This room is however ideal for guests with walking difficulties

• Bunk / futon (4'6") room. This easily accommodates 2 adults and can be used by up to 3 children (one on the bunk bed and 2 sharing the futon bed below). When used as a single room, the futon converts to a great sofa.

Gas central heating (combination boiler), BBQ, garden chairs/table, off-road parking for several cars, bicycle keep.
This cottage is in one of the least known parts of South Cumbria and yet is close to many famous tourist spots
- It s surrounded by gentle hills, with lots of walks nearby - the beginning of the Haematite Way footpath is at the end of the lane and Ulverston marks the start of the Cumbrian Way
- In easy reach of Lake District National Park - Lake Coniston is just 12 miles drive away.
- 2 miles from the bustling market town of Ulverston, with cobbled streets, restaurants, Laurel & Hardy museum, theatre, cinema and main line station
- Near picturesque Great Urswick with its tarn and 2 friendly pubs (20 minutes walk away)
- 3 miles from Morecambe Bay sands where a quarter of a million birds over-winter
- 3 miles from the exotic South Lakes Wild Life Park, complete with rare animals from around the world.
- Easy to get to from the M6 motorway exit 36, just one mile off the A590 Kendal - Barrow road.

updated to provide self-catering accommodation and workshop facilities for groups of up to 12 people.
