Farm Cottage

A renovated 18th century cottage - ideal for a country holiday

Farm Cottage

FARM COTTAGE IS A COMFORTABLE AND QUIET PLACE TO STAY - JUST A COUPLE OF MILES FROM THE BUSTLING SOUTH LAKES TOWN OF ULVERSTON

AIAS inspected - awarded a 'commended' rating

Originally an early 18th century building, Farm Cottage has been thoroughly renovated over the past year. It stands in pleasant gardens and meadows of grazing cows and sheep. As it has its own private garden and patio, you can enjoy outdoor barbeques during the summer. The area around the cottage is very quiet with Green Lane closed to through-traffic.

Farm Cottage stands next to Green Lane Farmhouse which has a private outdoor swimming pool, operational from May to October (weather permitting). Guests staying at the cottage are welcome to use this pool during the day - but they must be aware that they do so at their own risk. There is also a paddock, currently being replanted as an orchard and wild flower meadow. Guests are welcome to use this area to enjoy the plants and wildlife there.
