*Please note that guests may use the private outdoor (heated) swimming pool of Green Lane Farmhouse. It is open from mid-May until late September - weather permitting. Guests are welcome to use it during the daytime, after 9.30 am - at their own risk. No lifeguard service is provided and children under 14 cannot use the pool without adults being present.

*Dogs are welcome - if they are well behaved and stay downstairs. There's a supplement of 20 pounds per week or part week for each pet. No cats - sorry.

Farm Cottage is a member cottage of Cumbria Tourism and has passed its rigorous inspection requirements.

Prices

Prices are currently inclusive of bed linen, towels, electricity and gas. Gas for central heating and gas cooking are included in the rental fee and do not incur any extra costs. However, for winter rentals only (from November to end April), due to the rising price of electric heater use, we regret that an additional charge is made based upon metered electricity usage. This is charged at 20 pence per kWh used, as shown on the electricity meter at the start and end of each stay.
Cleaning materials, toilet paper and soap are also provided. Farm Cottage has a phone for incoming and emergency calls only.
The prices stated here reflect that Farm Cottage is rented without any agency fees or VAT.

Booking
Please phone 01229 583 750 or use the contact form to make a provisional booking. We will hold the accommodation for 7 days, pending receipt of a non-returnable deposit of 20% of the rental or £50 for each week booked - whichever is the greater. The full rental fee must be paid 5 weeks before the start of your stay.

Holidays booked less than 5 weeks before the start of the stay should be paid in full on booking.

Cancellation: If you have to cancel, we will try to re-let the accommodation. However if we are not successful and your cancellation is less than five weeks from the start date of your stay, you will be liable for the full cost of the booking.

Green Lane Farm

Green Lane Farmhouse and Farm Cottage are occasionally used together for residential workshops, run by Lisa Morgan. The farmhouse contains a large room ideal for workshops of 10 - 12 people.
